Safety First: Proper Court Footwear Required
All club members must wear proper enclosed court shoes to play badminton, effective immediately. To protect player safety and preserve our facility, casual footwear like jandals, crocs, sandals, or bare feet are strictly prohibited on the courts.
Why Footwear Matters
- Injury Prevention: Badminton requires fast, explosive lateral movements. Proper shoes provide necessary ankle support.
- Traction Control: Enclosed court shoes prevent dangerous slips and falls on the court surface.
- Court Protection: Non-marking soles ensure we do not scuff, scratch, or damage the specialized court flooring.
Approved Footwear Guide
- Allowed: Enclosed indoor court shoes, badminton shoes, tennis shoes, and clean-soled trainers.
- Banned: Jandals, slides, Crocs, boots, dress shoes, and any open-toed footwear.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our club safe and our courts in peak condition. See you on the court!
